Privacy Policy

AppCat.ai ("AppCat", the "Service") is a mobile attribution, deep linking, and server-side event measurement product. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit AppCat.ai, create an account, integrate the AppCat SDK, use our APIs, or otherwise interact with the Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information that helps us provide, secure, and improve AppCat:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, team details, authentication details, support messages, and sales or demo requests.
- App and integration information: app names, bundle IDs, package names, store URLs, ad platform connection metadata, event names, routing rules, and configuration settings you provide.
- Attribution and event data: click, install, first-open, purchase, subscription, and custom event metadata sent through AppCat, including timestamps, campaign parameters, device signals, IP-derived location, user agent, platform, and identifiers you configure or transmit.
- Usage and diagnostics: pages viewed, product actions, logs, error reports, performance data, security events, and cookie or similar technology data.
- Billing information: plan, subscription status, invoices, and payment processor metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
- Provide AppCat attribution, deep linking, event routing, dashboards, and APIs.
- Operate account, billing, support, sales, and customer success workflows.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug issues, and maintain audit logs.
- Improve product performance, reliability, measurement quality, and user experience.
- Send service updates, onboarding messages, product announcements, and marketing that you may opt out of.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Customer Data and End User Data
AppCat customers control the data they send to the Service about their apps and end users. We process that data to provide AppCat as instructed by the customer and as described in our agreements. Customers are responsible for providing any required notices, obtaining any required consents, and configuring AppCat in compliance with applicable privacy, advertising, platform, and app store rules.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us host, secure, analyze, support, email, bill, and operate AppCat. We may also disclose information to connected ad platforms or other integrations at your direction, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, product improvement, and marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect Service functionality.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention periods vary based on the data type, plan, configuration, and customer instructions.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may also opt out of marketing communications. To make a request, contact us at support@appcat.ai. If your request concerns end user data controlled by an AppCat customer, we may direct you to that customer.
Children
AppCat is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or the age required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by updating the effective date above.
